Program Summary
The purpose of the International COE program, named “Establishment of International COE for Integration of Transplantation Therapy and Regenerative Medicine”, is to establish novel therapies for the new millennium that integrate transplantation therapy and regenerative medicine.
Kyoto University, whose achievements in living donor liver transplantation have led to its wide recognition as an international center for excellence in therapeutics and education, stands ideally placed to translate results from this exciting new area of basic medical science into clinical treatments for patients with incurable diseases.
