Outline and Purpose of the Course The practical training conducted in clinical settings in the fifth year is both participatory and hands-on. Students dispense and inject preparations, based on actual prescriptions, while in contact with actual patients and medical staff. This course ensures that students engage in practical training effectively and play an active role as pharmacists in clinical practice after graduation by teaching them basic knowledge and skills related to dispensing, formulation, and medication guidance, as well as relevant techniques and attitudes at the university, before they start practical training.
Course Goals 1. Understand the correct attitude of a pharmacist in clinical practice and the basic flow of pharmaceutical management.
2. Learn basic dispensing operations (prescription audit, counting dispensing, metering dispensing, prescription inquiries, dispensing drug audits).
3. Perform basic aseptic techniques for injectable preparations.
4. Collect patient information needed for drug therapy.
5. Provide medication guidance on representative medicines.

Evaluation Methods and Policy Evaluation is based on the following: normal points (attendance and attitude during class ) 50 points; field tests performed during training and exercises 40 points; assigned reports 10 points. Class attitude will be evaluated based on active participation in exercises and practical training and the level of completeness of created products. Field tests will assess dispensing proficiency, aseptic technique, and communication skills. In the assigned reports, the content of the exercise, the degree of task understanding, and the logic and expressiveness of the text are factors that will contribute to the evaluations.
Evaluations will also be performed using the rubric presented separately.
