Outline and Purpose of the Course Acquire basic knowledge, skills, and attitudes about a pharmacist's work, which includes dispensing and drug management, drug information, formulation, and ward drug work, in order to understand the work and responsibilities of hospital pharmacists. Students will adopt a patient/consumer-oriented perspective, and participate in team medical care.
Course Goals 1. Explain the duties and roles of hospital pharmacists.
2. Acquire the attitude required to become a medical leader.
3. Learn basic dispensing operations, based on prescriptions.
4. Acquire the basic ability to propose and evaluate drug therapies tailored to each patient.
5. Share information and propose better alternative medical care as a member of a medical team.
6. Make presentations; during debriefing sessions, discuss the tasks you have set yourself during training.

Evaluation Methods and Policy Attendance, training attitude, presentation and debriefing-session discussions, and related factors.
Students are not allowed to miss training, arrive late, or leave early. If a student is absent for unavoidable reasons, having contacted the instructor beforehand, supplementary lessons will be assigned. Each student's training attitude will be evaluated by the instructing pharmacist. Debriefing-session presentations, student attitudes, and participation in discussions will all be evaluated comprehensively.
Course Requirements Students must have undertaken medical practice, prior to taking this course, and have passed the shared pharmacy exam.
Study outside of Class (preparation and review) After daily training, students are expected to review the materials, as needed, to acquire knowledge and skills.
