Outline and Purpose of the Course About 10 years have passed since Internet-connected computers, mobile phones, and other network devices began to permeate the lives of Japanese people. The Internet has gone beyond time and space and brought us a huge amount of information contact opportunities. At the same time, as an infrastructure that makes it possible to expand and strengthen social networks to an unparalleled level, it has brought about major changes in our daily lives and lifestyle itself, while they are congested with each other at various levels such as individuals, interpersonal relationships, groups, and society.
Course Goals In this class, based on research in Japan and overseas, we will understand the influence of the Internet system and the digital and virtual society created by its users on the real society from 4 perspectives: "individual," "interpersonal relationship," "group," and "society."

Evaluation Methods and Policy Regular test (30%), regular attitude scores (70%). Regular grades include small tests, minute papers after class, and participation in extracurricular assignments.

Study outside of Class (preparation and review) Prepare in advance with the specified reference materials. You will be given the opportunity to participate in online surveys and experiments to experience the research methods of psychology.
