Outline and Purpose of the Course This course will trace the history of Kant’s critical philosophy and early German idealism and discuss their features.

Week 5: Kant’s moral philosophy (1) categorical imperative
Week 6: Kant’s moral philosophy (2) antinomy of practical reason
Week 7: Kant’s moral philosophy (3) morality and religion
Week 8: Kant’s aesthetics
Week 9: Kant and the natural sciences (1) category and nature
Week 10: Kant and the natural sciences (2) mechanism and organics systems
