Outline and Purpose of the Course | In this course, we will learn the fundamental concepts and principles that rule spoken language by observing the regularity of colloquial Japanese. More specifically, by bringing the concepts of expressivity and nonfluency to grammar, we will examine how actual speech is explained. | |||
Course Goals | The objective of this class is for students to acquire the basic knowledge and techniques for implementing language research in a form that comfortably incorporates comprehensive research frameworks, including communication studies, speech studies, and syntax studies. | |||
