Outline and Purpose of the Course Laboratory sessions for basic psychology experiments. These sessions are for learning various research techniques in experimental psychology through specific tasks, following on from Psychology Lab IA.
Course Goals Learn developmental research techniques in experimental psychology.
Schedule and Contents Learn further developmental and practical research techniques for experimental psychology used in the Faculty of Letters?, based on basic research techniques learned in Psychology Lab IA. The content consists of experiments assigned to each student from sessions 1-14 covering perception, cognition, comparative cognition, and cognitive development. Each session will help students to gain a foothold in drafting protocols for specialized psychology experiments (Lab III) . Session 15 will be spent on review and feedback. Experimental content may vary depending on the latest research findings.
Evaluation Methods and Policy Performance (including attendance and regular assignments).
Course Requirements In principle, students will be specializing in psychology or double major. In principle, they will have already taken Psychology Lab IA.
Study outside of Class (preparation and review) Assignments will be given in each class session, and should be completed in full. In addition, students should carefully read the related literature.
