| Outline and Purpose of the Course |
This lecture aims to study the history of the Transcaucasia under the rule of Russian empire, focusing especially on Georgia. Stalin was born in Georgia. Several other leaders of Russian Social Democratic Labourer Party were Georgian. The Transcaucasia was one of the most critical factors to determine the character of the Russian empire in the 19th century. In this lecture, we study the process of the integration and disintegration of the Transcaucasia. |
