| Outline and Purpose of the Course | We will read simple Russian literary history papers, with undergraduate students reporting on their studies of Russian and Slavic literature, culture, language, and thought. | |||

１) Learn reading comprehension skills for Russian papers on literature. ２) Acquire methods for analyzing and examining papers, texts, and literary phenomena. ３) Acquire methods for presenting research and writing papers. |

| Schedule and Contents |
Week 1: Introduction Each student's research publication topics and debate partners will be decided based on their interests, and a general schedule will be set. We will review methods for presenting information and writing reports. Weeks 2-9 Read items by several poets and writers from modern Russian literary scholar И. Сухих's book "Русская литература для всех". Weeks 10-15 Undergraduates will take turns reporting on their research and conducting Q&A sessions. Graduate students will take turns reporting on their research and conducting Q&A sessions. Feedback methods will be explained in class. |

| Course Requirements |
Fundamental knowledge of Russian is required. This course is a requirement for undergraduate, master's, and doctoral students specializing in Slavic linguistics and Slavic literature. |

For readings, prepare before class. In the process of preparing reports, always take the instructor's advice ahead of time. |
