Outline and Purpose of the Course This class will offer guidance on writing graduation theses for students planning to submit a graduation thesis for the department of sociology this academic year.
Course Goals Write a graduation thesis.
Schedule and Contents In the first semester, students planning to submit a graduation thesis will give reports to refine their topics with the support of all full-time professors in the department. In the second semester, the class will be divided by lead professor and students will report on their thesis summary, analysis results, and state of progress.
Evaluation Methods and Policy Submission of one report in the first semester, followed by the introduction and summary in early September. Grade assessments in the second semester will be based on several reports and on students' class performance.
Course Requirements Course limited to students planning to submit a graduation thesis in the sociology specialization this year.
Study outside of Class (preparation and review) Instructions will be given in class.
