| Outline and Purpose of the Course |
本講義は、学術的な研究発表をするために必要な能力を身につけることを目的とする。（１）公式な場での表現、（２）レジュメやパワーポイントなど資料の作り方、（３）効果的な構成法などを学び、聞き手を意識したわかりやすく説得力のある発表ができるようになることを目指す。また、他の学生の発表を聞いたり質問やコメントを行ったりすることによって、多くの経験・知識を身につける。そして、専門分野での演習や学会で発表する際に応用できる学術的プレゼンテーション能力を養っていく。 The purpose of this class is for students to acquire advanced Japanese language skills necessary for academic presentations. Students will learn (1) expressions used in seminars and other public venues, (2) how to make a presentation script and slides, and (3) ways to structure an effective presentation. The class will help students give a clear and persuasive presentation in Japanese. In addition, students can gain a lot of experience and knowledge by listening to and asking questions and commenting on other students’ presentations.. At the end of the course, students should be able to apply these skills to their own academic research. |

| Course Goals |
・専門の学習・研究に役立つ日本語応用力を向上させる。 ・不自由なく大学の講義が理解でき、学術的な文章の読み書きや議論/ができる。 ・アカデミックな発表にふさわしい語彙や表現を使い、わかりやすく説明をすることができる。 ・クラスメートの発表に対して、質問をしたり自分の意見を述べたりすることができる。 ・文法的な誤りが少なく、場面に応じた言い回しやことばの使い分けができる。 ・違和感を与えることなく自然なやり取りができる。 Course goals are as follows: ・Be able to apply the Japanese skills you have acquired to your studies in your major or your field of research. ・Be able to give clear explanations using vocabulary and expressions appropriate for academic presentations. ・Be able to ask questions and express your own opinion about your classmates' presentations. ・Be able to comprehend university lectures, read and write academic text, and participate in academic discussions with ease. ・Ｂe able to communicate with few grammatical errors, and to be able to distinguish and use expressions accordingly for different situations. ・Be able to carry out natural conversation. |
