Outline and Purpose of the Course ・比較的平易な英語で書かれた学術的な文章を読む力を身につける。
・単語テストを通して，語彙力の増強を図る。
・英語を通して，家や建築に関する基礎的な知識を得る。
Course Goals 英語圏の一般読者や大学生を対象とした英語を毎週10ページ程度読むことで，英語を和訳せず英語として理解する力を培う。

Evaluation Methods and Policy ・5回以上欠席した場合は成績評価の対象としない。

・成績評価は，下の基準を用いて，総合評価する。
　授業での発言や態度などの参加状況(40%)＋期末試験(40%)＋単語テスト(20%)
Course Requirements Refer to "Handbook of Liberal Arts and General Education Courses".
Study outside of Class (preparation and review) 次回の授業個所を事前に読んでおくこと。また，毎回の単語テストのために準備をしておくこと。
