| Outline and Purpose of the Course | Lawrence M. Principe, The Scientific Revolution: A Very Short Introduction (2011) を毎回6-10ページ程度読み進める。学術的な英文を読み解き、近代科学の基盤を築いた16-17世紀科学革命とその歴史的・文化的背景を理解することを目的とする。 | |||

The microcosm and the living world 《期末試験》 第15回 フィードバック ・毎回担当者を複数名決め、指定部分の要約、翻訳、英文解釈に関する疑問点等をまとめた内容を発表する。 ・疑問点や重要な点については、全員で議論し、理解を深める。 ・適宜単語の小テストを行う。 |

授業への積極的な参加: 10% 発表・課題・単語テスト: 50% 期末試験: 40% 5回以上欠席した場合は成績評価の対象としない。 |

・毎週、指定の範囲(10ページ未満)を読んだ上で授業に参加する。 ・重要な文や興味深いと思った箇所のメモをとっておく。 ・発表担当者は指定箇所の要約、翻訳、英文解釈に関する補足説明や疑問点等をまとめた資料を用意する。 ・適宜指定された範囲を復習し、語彙の習得度を単語テストで確認する。 |
