Outline and Purpose of the Course The theme is "sustainability" as in the Sustainable Development Goal(SDGs), while addressing leadership as an innate ability of any individuals rather than relating to the positions in the organizations or roles in the society. The course is consisted of lectures, discussions among course takers per previously assigned reading or viewing materials, and live stories from the leaders in several fields in context of SDGs. Throughout the course, the course takers will express their own ways of realizing the triple sustainability - economic, environmental, and social sustainability - as part of the search for their leadership style.
Course Goals Students would notice their own leadership potential and style, and cultivate better understanding on how leadership matters to continue to build the economically, socially, and environmentally sustainable society.

1. Introduction

2-5 Meaning of leadership and “sustainability”- Lecture, and discussion reflecting the reading and viewing assignments

6-8 SDGs game and self-assessment of “leadership style in achieving SDGs”

8-12 Leadership and sustainability (by relevant guest lecturers)
live stories by leaders in the relevant field, and discussion

13-14.Searching your own leadership style
- Lifeline exercise
- Students' presentation on impactful arts/literature in search of their own leadership style

15 Summary and Reflection

No exam
Evaluation Methods and Policy 60% class attendance and participation (assignments during and after the class, etc);
20% Leadership style presentation
20% final paper
