Outline and Purpose of the Course ・コースの もくてきは、しょきゅうIレベルの ぶんぽうを りかいして、よむことと かくことを べんきょうすることです。
・The goal of this course is to learn Elementary I level Japanese grammar and to acquire skills necessary for reading and writing.
Course Goals このコースの もくひょうは したの とおりです。
・ひつような ことばを ふやして、しょきゅうの ぶんけいを まなびます。
・いつもの せいかつに やくにたつ、かんたんな ぶんを よんだり かいたり できます。
・JLPT N5/ CEFR A1 レベルに なります。
Course goals are as follows:
・To expand basic vocabulary and to complete learning the elementary sentences.
・To be able to read and write simple sentences useful for daily life.
・To achieve a level of proficiency equivalent to the JLPT N5 or CEFR A1 levels.

・In each class, students are expected to practice the reading and writing skills according to the themes below.
・Students are assigned to write passage every after the class, using the grammars presented during the class.
・The course schedule is as follows:

Evaluation Methods and Policy ・さんかど（20％）、ミニクイズ（10%）、 しゅくだい（30%）、テスト（40％）で せいせきをだします。
・せいせきの だしかたは、クラスでも おしえます。
・さんぶんのいち いじょう やすんだら、せいせきが でません。

・The student's final grade will be based on 1) in-class participation (20%), 2) mini-quizzes (10%), 3) assignments (30%), and 4) final exam (40%).
・Details in evaluation will be provided in class.
・Students absent from 1/3 or more of the total number of class sessions will not be evaluated.

Study outside of Class (preparation and review) ・クラスでは、ぶんぽうを べんきょうしません。うちで べんきょうして、クラスに きてください。
