| Outline and Purpose of the Course | 本授業は、認知情報学系の言語科学関係及び外国語教育論関係の学系入門科目である。各関係に所属する教員がそれぞれの専門の立場から言語科学への入門に適した内容の授業を行う。また、博士後期課程学生による入門講義ないしは自らの研究の発表も行われる。 | ||

| Schedule and Contents |
各教員の講義テーマは以下の予定である。講義の順番及び博士後期課程学生のテーマは初回の授業で通知する。全部で14回の講義を行う。 言語科学関係： ・認知言語学入門：日常言語のダイナミズムと創造性（谷口一美） ・言語の起源・進化（藤田耕司） ・比較言語学と言語類型論（河崎靖） ・機能的類型論の世界（守田貴弘） ・言語変化のしくみ（西脇麻衣子） ・音声言語と書記言語 (堀口大樹) 外国語教育論関係： ・言語政策（西山教行） ・言語習得（中森誉之） ・応用言語学（ピーターソン マーク） |

| Evaluation Methods and Policy |
平常点評価（100%）による成績評価を行う。 平常点評価は、原則として各回の担当教員が課す小テストや小レポート等による。 成績は、毎回の出席を原則とし、各回の最後に示す小課題に基づいて評価する。詳細は授業中に指示する。 |
