Outline and Purpose of the Course In the course, we offer the lecture regarding the basic knowledge of chemical biology, a recently advanced research field between chemistry and biology, from the history originated from bioorganic chemistry, bioinorganic chemistry, molecular recognition (Host-guest) chemistry, supramolecular chemistry and natural product chemistry to the state-of-the art, by coupling the hot seminar from international guests.
Course Goals ・To acquire the basic knowledge of the cutting-edge progress of chemical biology and new approaches when you need any ideas in your own interdisciplinary research projects in the future.

Evaluation Methods and Policy Evaluation will be based on active participation and assignments and an examination. Assignments and individual reports will be assessed on the basis of achievement level for course goals.
