Outline and Purpose of the Course Basic organometallic chemistry including history, structure, bonding, reactions, and survey of various metal complexes is lectured. Several typical catalytic reactions are explicated on the basis of elementary steps in organometallic chemistry such as ligand substitution, oxidative addition, reductive elimination, and insertion reactions.
