Outline and Purpose of the Course Lectures on recent topics in various fields of mechanical engineering will be given in English. This is mainly for foreign students (MC/DC), but Japanese students are also welcome.
Course Goals The aim of this course is to acquire a mechanical-engineering way of viewing/understanding different phenomena and advanced topics based on the principles of mechanics.
Schedule and Contents Topics in the following fields will be provided in an omnibus style. The actual order of the topics and the schedule of lectures will be announced before the course starts.

Evaluation Methods and Policy Grading is based on the homework reports and the class-room discussions.

Study outside of Class (preparation and review) Enrolled students should review the lecture materials and work on the homework reports.
