Outline and Purpose of the Course The contents of the lecture are as follows. (1) History of Global Warming problem, Radiative forcing, Green house gas emission, Carbon cycle, Mechanism of Climate Change, Mitigation measures, Social and Natural impact of Climate change (2) Mechanism of formation of Photochemical oxidant and Acid rain, Global scale transportation of atmospheric pollutants, Deposition and its impact of air pollutants, control measure of air pollution. Also, students make presentation and discussion on the related papers.
Course Goals By the end of the course, students will be able to understand the mechanisms of climate change and air pollution, and learn to solve the problems by themselves.
