| Outline and Purpose of the Course | 気象学・大気力学に関する英文教科書等の輪読を行い、理解を深めるための討論を行う。 | |||

| Schedule and Contents |
輪読する教科書を年度初めに決め、それを１年で通読する。具体的には、数ページずつ担当者を決め、担当者が担当部分の解説を行った後、質疑応答と、議論を行う。 なお、近年に輪講した教科書は、 Vallis 著 Atmospheric and Oceanic Fluid Dynamics (2nd edition) Krishnamurti et al. 著 Tropical Meteorology Hoskins and James 著 Fluid Dynamics of the Mid-Latitude Atmosphere Vallis 著 Atmospheric and Oceanic Fluid Dynamics Wallace and Hobbs 著 Atmospheric Science Durran 著 Numerical Methods for Wave Equations in Geophysical Fluid Dynamics Cushman-Roisin and Beckers 著 Introduction to Geophysical Fluid Dynamics Brasseur and Solomon 著 Aeronomy of the Middle Atmosphere 廣田 勇 著 気象の遠近法（＋杉本・西澤 「気象の遠近法」ノート） などである。 |
