Outline and Purpose of the Course (Aim) This course aims to equip students with the ability to design experiment plans for pharmaceutical research and teach them associated experimental techniques, data sorting methods, problem-solving skills, and teaching methods.
(Summary) Students will design practical training and plan experiments in Specialized Training for Pharmacy for pharmaceutical sciences undergraduates, prepare and conduct preliminary experiments prior to practical training, and guide undergraduate students during practical training.
Course Goals ・To learn basic experiment methods and approaches in one's own area of specialized research, as well as experiment planning skills and teaching methods.
・To develop presentation and communication skills through the direct instruction of pharmaceutical sciences undergraduates.
Schedule and Contents 1-15: The following practical training will be held:
Practical training in pharmacology (Shirakawa)
・Design and planning of practical training content for pharmacology
・Preliminary experiments and preparations for explaining practical training in pharmacology
・Instruction in practical training in pharmacology
Practical training in pharmacology (Yamashita, Higuchi, & Takahashi)
・Design and planning of practical training content for pharmaceutical sciences
・Preliminary experiments and preparations for explaining practical training in pharmaceutical sciences
・Instruction in practical training in pharmaceutical sciences
Practical training in radiopharmaceutical sciences (Ono & Watanabe)
・Design and planning of practical training content for radiopharmaceutical sciences
・Preliminary experiments and preparations for explaining practical training in radiopharmaceutical sciences
・Instruction in practical training in radiopharmaceutical sciences
Evaluation Methods and Policy Students will be comprehensively evaluated based on practical training attendance, development and planning of practical training, preparation and preliminary experiments, and the quality and appropriateness of their instruction in practical training.
Course Requirements None
Study outside of Class (preparation and review) ・Students should make sure they prepare sufficiently in advance before starting practical training. Once the practical training is complete, they should consider the experiment results in full and examine the presentations and teaching methods.
