Outline and Purpose of the Course (Aim) Introductory lectures on clinical pharmacy. This course aims to teach students about the state and position of clinical pharmacy, provide an overview of research in the various fields of pharmacy majors, and deliver an understanding of the state and future prospects of medical practice.
(Summary) The course will outline the state and position of clinical pharmacy, and teach students the knowledge they need for the development of pharmaceuticals and their appropriate usage by explaining the details and issues of research relating to biopharmaceutical sciences and drug metabolism, drug delivery research, and clinical pharmacology and therapeutics. Teaching staff from each of the fields will give lectures, as will visiting lecturers, including hospital pharmacists, where appropriate.
Course Goals ・To study and acquire basic knowledge on a broad range of the latest information on clinical pharmacology research.

Evaluation Methods and Policy Students are comprehensively evaluated according to course attendance and subject reports that may be assigned based on class content.

Study outside of Class (preparation and review) Students should prepare for each class by looking up basic information about the lecture topic on the Internet in advance. They will also be assigned reports relating to class content, on which their performance will be evaluated.
