Outline and Purpose of the Course (Aim) This course aims to teach students basic experiment methods and approaches in pharmacokinetics, pharmacology, and pharmacokinetics, and equip them with experiment planning skills and teaching methods.
(Summary) In this course, students will design practical training and plan experiments relating to pharmaceutical sciences in Specialized Training for Pharmacy 3 for pharmaceutical sciences undergraduates. They will prepare and conduct preliminary experiments prior to practical training and guide undergraduates during practical training.
Course Goals To develop the ability to design practical training and plan experiments relating to pharmaceutics in Specialized Training for Pharmacy 3 for pharmaceutical sciences undergraduates, prepare and carry out preliminary experiments prior to practical training, and guide undergraduate students in practical training.
Schedule and Contents 1-15: The following practical training will be held:
Design and planning of practical training
・Design practical training and plan experiments relating to pharmaceutics
Preparation and preliminary experiments
・Prepare practical training content relating to pharmaceutics to explain to undergraduate students and carry out preliminary students to assess the validity of the experiment plan
Instruction in practical training
・Experiment and analysis practice on pharmaceutical safety
・ Experiment and mechanism analysis of gastrointestinal absorption of drugs using rats
・ Pharmacokinetic analysis
・ Clearance-based pharmacokinetic evaluations
・Experiment and analysis of disintegration and dissolution of solid formulations for oral use
