Outline and Purpose of the Course (Aim) For graduates from information or theory backgrounds to learn the basic technologies in life sciences. They will be equipped with a sound grounding and the practical skills to carry out safe and accurate experiments in the fields that form the foundation for basic life sciences experiments and drug development: genetic engineering, protein chemistry, cell biology, physiology, pharmacology, and microbiology.
Course Goals To learn experiment methods through lectures and seminars on the foundational fields of life sciences experiments: genetic engineering, protein chemistry, cell biology, physiology, pharmacology, and microbiology.
