Outline and Purpose of the Course This course is designed to learn principles underlying statistical analysis methods and their practical techniques in the fields of health and medical care. In computer exercises with problem sets, we will learn how to use JMP statistical software and to interpret the results.

Students are required to bring their own laptops with the JMP statistical software already installed. Kyoto University has a licensing agreement for JMP statistical software. See instructions below:

Course Goals Students are expected to acquire fundamental statistical knowledge and data analysis techniques using the JMP statistical software.
