Outline and Purpose of the Course This course addresses leadership as an innate ability for any individuals rather than relating to the positions in the organizations or roles in the society, and in context of achievement of Sustainable Development Goals and beyond. The course takers will search and express their own leadership style through various discussion and exercise. The course is consisted of lectures, discussions and presentation among course takers per previously assigned reading or viewing materials, and live stories from the leaders contributing to SDGs.
Course Goals Better understanding on how leadership matters to build economically, socially, and environmentally sustainable society.
Students raise awareness of their own roles and leadership style in pursuit of economically, socially, and environmentally sustainable society.
Schedule and Contents 1. Introduction
2-4 Meaning of leadership and Sustainability
Visioning Exercise, Lecture, and Discussion reflecting the reading and viewing assignments
5-9 SDGs game, and self-assessment of leadership style in achieving SDG
7-10 Leadership in realm of sustainability by guest lecturers
11-12 Students presentation on their Leadership Foundation
13-14 Searching your own leadership style

Evaluation Methods and Policy 50% Class attendance and contribution by actively participating in the discussion, and doing the assignments for each class;
25% Presentation on leadership foundation;
