Outline and Purpose of the Course Description: An active particpation course in English with focus on three writing genres (email, persuasive memo, and business structure) and three speaking genres (discussion, presentation, and short pitches). Purpose: to understand how the English speaking business world communicates in standard written and verbal genres.

Course Requirements Upper-Intermediate English skills required. 14:45 class will admit TOEIC up to 650. 16:30 class will admit TOEIC above 650. All assignments submitted in computer format (MS Word, Powerpoint, Excel etc.).
Study outside of Class (preparation and review) Students are expected to regularly prepare before classes in order to successfully participate.
