Outline and Purpose of the Course The aim of this course is for students to understand cognitive development and its biological foundations, while referencing expertise in developmental psychology, cognitive neuroscience, physiological psychology, and computational models. This year, we will focus on subjective experience and its ontogenetic process.

Evaluation Methods and Policy [Assessment methods] Presentations will be assigned, so students will be assessed on those presentations (80 points) and on class participation (20 points)
[Assessment criteria] Students will be assessed for their achievement of learning targets in line with the Faculty of Literature and Graduate School of Literature grade rubric.
