Outline and Purpose of the Course	At each session, two graduate students will give presentations on their research subjects basically in English. Each presentation will be followed by a Q & A session among students, then by tutorial comments from their supervisors and finally by face-to-face tutorial meeting of each student with his/her supervisors. The seminar is considered essential for master and doctor thesis writing of all graduate students.
Course Goals	Students can acquire skills to make clear, well structured, and easy-to-follow presentations on philosophical topics, to raise incisive and productive questions even for the topics that are not familiar to them, and to give honest, definite and appropriate answers to those questions. They can also be given valuable advices from their fellow students and supervisors for their master and doctor theses.
Schedule and Contents	1 Guidance for philosophical presentations and discussions 2 to 13 Presentation by students
Evaluation Methods and Policy	Presentation 70%. Active participation to discussions 30%. Students are required to upload their papers and presentation materials to a shared on-file file box until a week before their presentations. Any delay in their uploading reduces their remarks.
Course Requirements	None
Study outside of Class (preparation and review)	Each presenter is required to upload their presentation material and/or paper and important references (chapters of books, journal papers and so on) to a drop box for the seminar until a week before his/her presentation. The paper should accord with an official format of published paper including proper references to citations. All students are required to prepare power-point materials written in English. All doctor students are also required to prepare their presentations in English.
