Outline and Purpose of the Course Having the ability to visually show data and analytical results, whether in the humanities or science, is a strength for researchers. In this practical seminar, students will learn the skills and design fundamentals required for information visualization (infographics) mainly by utilizing computer drawing software.
Course Goals (1) Know the overview of infographics.
(2) Learn the basics of graphic design.
(3) Attain the basic knowledge to incorporate infographics into your research project.

2. Drawing software workshop (1) (basic operations)
3. Drawing software workshop (2) (bezier curve and tracing)
4. Drawing software workshop (3) (pass and text)
5. Task A: creating a “map” (1)

Evaluation Methods and Policy Students will be evaluated according to regular participation and performance (40 points for practical tasks in the basics of graphics and design, 30 points for proposals for infographics, and 30 points for submitted works).
