Outline and Purpose of the Course | East Asia has various types of economies, for example transitional economy, planning economy, development economy and market economy. By introducing these economies, we learn that we need various type of approach including Marxist economics, transitional economics, and development economics. Therefore, professors will not only introduce East Asian economies but also teach the basic points of such approaches. | ||
Course Goals | It can be expected that participant students obtain basic knowledge and analytical framework to understand East Asian economies in the context of social sciences. | ||

Check the understanding level by discussion in each lecture(50%) And by the final reports(50%). To JDTS/MATS students: This is course can be taken as full seminar (8 ECTS) only. |
