Outline and Purpose of the Course	世界30数か国の大学から大学院生と若手研究者の参加を得て13年間開催してきた実績のある「次世代グローバルワークショップ」を単位化したもの。 今年度は京都大学で開催する。応募者はスクリーニングの上、報告者を確定する。後日、コメントに従った修正のうえ、フルペーパーの提出を求め、年度末Proceedingsとして掲載する。9月末の開催を予定しているが、場合によってはオンラインになる可能性がある。詳細については年度初めに掲載の予定（http://www.kuasu.cpier.kyoto-u.ac.jp/） The Next-Generation Global Workshop (NGGW) has been held annually since 2008 to provide an opportunity for early-career scholars to present their research and to have feedback from an international audience. Course Goals	テーマに従い英語論文を執筆し、英語で研究報告を行う。質問の受け答えや、研究者間の交流が主体的に行える。 It has proved to be a pleasant and effective way for capacity building through mentorship of professors from different universities in different areas of the world. It has also provided invaluable opportunities for all participants to learn from their fellow participants with different perspectives and to deepen the understanding of various social phenomena in the world, particularly in Asia. Ultimately, the NGGW has served as a forum for scholars of different generations from various regions to build a common academic foundation by redefining Asia in the global context.
Schedule and Contents	参加者は統一テーマについて英語論文を執筆し、英語で研究報告を行う。参加にあたってはおおまかに以下のプロセスを伴う。 １．タイトルの作成 ２．要旨の作成 ３．応募書類の作成と応募 ４．論文執筆（6000語程度） ５．校閲 ６．発表原稿作成 ７．発表演習 ８．修正 ９．報告 １０．大学教員からのコメントと返答 １１．全体のディスカッション １２．研究者間交流 １３．論文のリライトと編集 １４．論文および研究構成に関する宣誓書の確認・提出 １５．プロシーディングス掲載と確認 ワークショップでは世界各地からの参加者と同じセッションで報告し、やはり世界各地から参加する大学教員からコメントを受ける。国際会議での学術発表の実践的経験を積む貴重な機会である。
Evaluation Methods and Policy	ワークショップ参加・報告とリライトした論文により評価する。詳細は別途説明する。 Based on workshop presentation and preparation.
Course Requirements	参加希望者はあらかじめ発表要旨を提出し、選考を通った者のみが参加を認められる。 Applicants need to submit their abstracts in advance, and only those who pass the selection process will be accepted to participate.
