| Schedule and Contents |
This seminar continues from the latter half of the last school year. Formerly, on the Warring States period (453-221BC), scholars could only study the history of the Qin state in the late stage of the period. Regarding the early and middle stages of the period, and the six states except Qin, it was difficult to chronologically understand the historical transition because of confusion of chronology as well as absolute lack of materials. The excavation of Chu bamboo slips after 1990's particularly activated study of history of thoughts, but on the contrary, exposed the insufficiency of the study of literature. This seminar attempts to progress ability to use literatures, excavated texts, and archaeological materials concerning the study of ancient history of China by reading Qian Mu's Xianqin Zhuzi Xinian, and critical examination of concerning materials and studies. The first to the fifteenth: Reading of Xianqin Zhuzi Xinian Information regarding feedback will be announced in the classroom. |

Students must prepare up to five pages every time, regardless of it is their duty to present. The survey of literatures quoted as well as grammatical interpretation is inevitable. |
