| Outline and Purpose of the Course |
In this class, we will consider what role the five senses motifs have played in German literature. I would like to verify that literature is closely related to all five senses, not just sight and hearing, in various works of German literature. |

| Evaluation Methods and Policy |
Students will be assessed on their comment papers during class (50%) and on their end-of-term reports (50%). The end-of-term reports will be assessed based on the level of achievement in reaching the learning targets. |
