Outline and Purpose of the Course The advance of mankind into space is becoming increasingly realistic, especially with technological developments. The space program for humans has been further extended by shifting from the space shuttle to the International Space Station, and in the future, lunar missions and Mars missions will become a reality for several years. However, it is not completely understood how space environments effect on our body during staying at the space, although our human has evolved in adapting to the global environment. Therefore, the purpose of this lecture is to develop human resources who will learn the effects of staying in space on humans for future manned space activities and engage in elucidation of countermeasures in the future.
Course Goals Understand how the space environment affects humans. In addition, they will develop their own ability to think about what problems will be encountered in space for several years and what needs to be done to solve them.
