Outline and Purpose of the Course	視覚認知、注意、記憶、意識、実行機能、感情などを中心に人間の認知機能に関わる概念、及び、その脳内メカニズムを解説する。また、認知機能を理解するための心理学的手法、認知機能と脳の関係を明らかにするための機能的脳画像解析手法などについても詳細に解説する。さらには、社会への適用に関するトピックスも取り上げる。 This lecture elaborates on the issue of brain mechanisms such as visual recognition, attention, memory, consciousness, executive function, and emotion. In addition, technical issues of experimental psychology and functional brain imaging are introduced. The applied aspects of these issues are also explained.
Course Goals	人間の認知過程を理解するのに必要な認知科学の基礎知識を得ることができる。また、心理学実験や脳計測実験の実例を通して、基礎的な知見がどのように得られたかを理解できるようになる。さらには、情報学などの関連領域との関係、ならびに、基礎的知見がどのように日常生活における認知的な問題と関係しているかに関しても理解を広げることができる。 Basic knowledge and techniques for understanding of human cognitive system can be learned.

Evaluation Methods and Policy	毎回，講義中に行うまたは，講義中に出題し，期限内に提出を求める小レポートにより情報学研究科成績評価規定第７条に基づき評価（講義の最後に実施するとは限らないので要注意） これらは通常のテストと同等に扱う。 フィードバックを除く14回分を10点満点で採点し，合計140点満点を合計100点に換算する（小数点以下切り上げ）。したがって，６回以上，小テストを受けていない場合には，残りが満点であったとしても合格点には達しないので注意すること。
