Outline and Purpose of the Course	「ディアスポラの時代」といわれる現代社会、誰もがさまざまな理由で移動を余儀なくされ、場所との結びつきは一時的で抽象的なものになりつつある。その一方で、新型コロナウィルスの感染拡大による移動の制限は、人々を家という限られた空間にとどまらせることになった。いずれの状況においても、人の帰属意識やアイデンティティを支えるものとして、家族や親族などの他者との関係が重要性を帯びつつある。この重要な他者の記憶を生成する場が何らかの困難を抱えたとき、人はいかにそれを乗り越え、身体および自己をつなぎとめていけるのか、本講義では場所、喪失、記憶、関係性をテーマにした論集を購読しながら考察する。
Course Goals	・場所とのつながりが絶たれてしまったことで生じる人との関係構築と再編のあり方を、地域の歴史、自然環境、身体感覚、政策の違いをふまえて考察できる。 ・土地や社会関係の記憶の臨界点として「霊」や宗教概念が生成する動態を理解する。 ・1980年代以降盛んなメモリアル・スタディーズを受けた人類学的なアプローチについて検討する。

Evaluation Methods and Policy	到達目標の達成度を基準にして、担当章の報告(60%)、討論への積極的な参加(40%)から総合的に判断する。
Course Requirements	文化人類学の講義を受講している、あるいは過去に受講したことがあることが望ましい。
Study outside of Class (preparation and review)	各章を担当する際には、関連する諸文献も合わせて購読し、内容をより理解したうえで報告することが望ましい。
