Outline and Purpose of the Course The course aims to illustrate the complexity of climate change and introduces both natural and social science perspectives. The overall aim of the course is to give an interdisciplinary introduction to climate change, its impacts on both the natural environment and human societies, as well as possible strategies for mitigation and adaptation.
Course Goals The course helps students to understand the terms, concepts and background knowledge of climate change, as well as the numerous efforts which are taking place to address this global threat.
