本科目の目的は、社会科学的研究の方法論の基本的知識を提供することにある。最も基本的な事項を確認した上で、定量研究について重要事項を説明する。 This course aims to provide basic knowledge on methodology in social sciences, with a focus on quantitative approaches. |

地球環境学舎の成績評価基準に従いつつ、毎回の講義への出席を前提とした参加点（50％）とレポート（50％）。 Evaluation is made according to the GSGES standard and on the basis of end-of-term report examination (50%) and of quizzes or individual contribution to class discussion (50%) |
