Outline and Purpose of the Course Dynamics of essential elements between soils and vegetation and the impacts of human activities on them will be described with special reference to the terrestrial ecosystems in Africa, Asia and Japan. Case studies on extension of the technologies in the developing countries are also described.
Course Goals Understand important facts and methodologies to realize sustainable management of terrestrial ecosystems.

Evaluation Methods and Policy Grade is evaluated by the examination at each lecture (35%) and marks for a report (65%).
