Outline and Purpose of the Course	環境マネジメント専攻では、地球環境･地域環境問題の解決に寄与できる高度な知識と実践能力を持った専門家を養成することを目的としている。このため、インターン研修制度を必修科目として導入し、学外における実習に基づいた個別教育によって、 実践的な問題解決能力の獲得を目指している。さらに帰学後はその成果を活かした学位論文の取りまとめを行う。 インターンの研修先として、国際機関や国際NGO、官公庁、民間組織、海外の大学など国内外の地球環境に関する研究機関と幅広く提携している。 　環境マネジメント専攻修士課程のインターン研修には以下の2つがある。原則、「1）長期インターン研修」(90日以上)を選択するものとするが、ダブル・ディグリー学生においては「2）短期インターン研修」(30日以上及び修士論文準備研究報告の実施)を選択することもできる。 ※令和4年度は新型コロナウイルス感染症拡大防止対策に伴う特別措置として、次についても可とする。（新型コロナウイルスの感染拡大状況によって、適宜変更となるため、必ず指導教員等に確認すること） ・国内大学、京都大学（地球環境学堂内も含む）の関連機関も対象とする。 ・リモートでの実施も研修に含める。 ・ダブルディグリー生以外の短期研修の選択も可とする。 　インターン研修に伴う事前および事後の学修については、指導教員の指示に従うものとする。（研修および事前・事後の学修を含み、計360時間以上の学修が必要） 　なお、インターン研修の実施は、「インターン研修実施要領」に従うものとする。 The Master’s Program in Environmental Management aims to foster specialists who will be active internationally and have a high level of knowledge and problem-solving capabilities that they can apply towards finding solutions for global and regional environmental problems. For the reason, the internship has been established as a required subject in keeping with the importance of practical expertise, and the objective is to impart capabilities to deal with global environmental problems using individual instruction based on practical training outside the school. As Internship destinations, it has wide range of cooperation with research organizations both inside and outside Japan such as United Nations organizations, international NGOs, government, private organizations, and overseas universities. There are two types of internship programs for the Master’s Program in Environmental Management as follows. In principle, students should select "1)Long-term internship program" (not less than 90 days). However, double-degree program students can select "2)Short-term internship program"(not less than 30 days and Preliminary master's research report). ※In 2022, as special measure associated with measures to prevent the spread of COVID-19, The following is possible. (Be sure to check with your academic supervisor and so on, because it will be changed as appropriate due to the spread situation of COVID-19,). ・Internship destinations targets also related institutions of University in Japan and Kyoto University (also including Global Environmental Studies) ・Internship training by remote also include in the Internship program. ・Non Double degree program students also can choice of Short-term internship program. Regarding Pre- and Post- Learning accompanying Internship program, follow the instruction of academic supervisor. (Requires a total of not less than 360 hours Learning including Pre- and Post- Leaning and Internship program.) The details of internships are mentioned in the "Guideline for Internship Program".
Course Goals	実習により、地球環境･地域環境問題の解決に寄与できる高度な知識と実践能力を養う。 To develop a high level of knowledge and problem-solving capabilities that they can apply towards finding solutions for global and regional　environmental problems by Internship programs.
Schedule and Contents	・詳細については、オリエンテーションを実施し、説明する（実施日等については、追ってHP・掲示等で連絡する） ・オンライン等で実施する場合もあるため、KULASIS、PandA等で確認すること ・Details will be given at an orientation.（The other details will be announced on GSGES Website or Notice board. ） ・Check the information on KULASIS and PandA as lessons might be held online this semester.
Evaluation Methods and Policy	素点100点満点で評価する。100点の内訳は下記のとおりである。 1 長期の場合は3か月以上、短期の場合は1カ月以上の研修：0－50点 　 ※日数が不足する場合は減点となる場合がある。 2 下記の書類提出：0－20点 　 ・日誌（5点）、終了報告書(5点) ※長期・短期共通 　 ・中間報告書(5点)、成果報告書（5点）※長期のみ　 ・修士論文準備研究報告（5点）※短期のみ 　 なお提出時期・方法については、インターン研修実施要領を確認すること。 3 口頭試問：0－30点 　 ・指導教員が成績を評価する。(その際には、研修責任者から提出されたインターン研修評価書も参考にする) Evaluate based on total of 100 points raw score. Grade assessments are based on the following (total 100 points). 1. Completions of internship programs : 0-50 points (Not less than 3 months for long-term or Not less than 1 month for short-term) ※There is a case to be deducted points in case of insufficient days. 2. Submission of the following documents : 0-20 points ・Internship Daily Study Reports (5 points) ※both Long-term and Short-term ・Interim Internship Report (5 points) ※Only Long-term ・Completion Report (5 points) ※both Long-term and Short-term ・Internship Report (5 points) ※Only Long-term ・Preliminary master’s research report (5 points) ※Only Short-term Please follow the internship guideline about submission deadline and methods. 3. Oral examination : 0-30 points ・Evaluation will be made by the academic supervisor. (Internship Program Evaluation Form which is submitted by internship supervisor will be used as a reference.)
