Outline and Purpose of the Course Fundamental and applied aspects of inorganic chemistry related to energy science will be lectured. This includes analytical methods in the field of energy chemistry.
Course Goals 1. The goals of this lecture are understandings of fundamental things in inorganic chemistry (including solution and analytical chemistry) and of how to apply them to practical electrochemical devices.
Schedule and Contents The lecture consists of the following subjects.
1. Electrolytic solutions: classification and properties (3 times)
2. Behavior of ions in electrolytic solutions (4 times)
3. Analytical methods for electrochemical devices (solid materials) (twice)
4. Analytical methods for electrochemical devices (liquid and gaseous materials) (twice)
5. Inorganic fluorides (once)
6. Application of inorganic fluorides to energy science (3 times)
Evaluation Methods and Policy Attendance and assignments.
