Outline and Purpose of the Course The aim of this course is to help students acquire an understanding of energy processes. The course deals with electrochemical processes of production and recycling for functional materials.
Course Goals To be able to investigate energy processes and make a presentation.
Schedule and Contents In principal, the course will be offered as the following plan. However, it may change the order or the number of weeks for each theme depending on the progressive of the course or handling on current topics.
1. Fundamentals and applications in electrochemistry and thermodynamics (2-3 weeks)
2. Electrochemical processes (6 weeks)
3. Thin film processes (6 weeks)
Evaluation Methods and Policy Evaluation will be based on presentations during class and assignments via PandA.
Course Requirements This course is suitable for students who passed Advanced Physical Chemistry.
