Outline and Purpose of the Course Nuclear reactor is one of neutron mediated energy system, because fission chain reactions that produce energy are iniciated by neutrons in nuclear reactor. This lecture treats nuclear reactors, nuclear fuel cycle and radiation physics.
Course Goals Understanding of basic reactor physics and radiation physics.
