Outline and Purpose of the Course The newest research findings in fundamental energy science will be given in relation to basic knowledge of chemistry and physics and effective ways to systematize energy science will be discussed.
Course Goals Principal attainment targets are to:
1. foster student's ability to comprehend the newest research findings and relationship between these findings and basic knowledge of chemistry and physics;
2. foster student's ability to acquire basic knowledge for systematization of energy science.
Schedule and Contents The main topics are as following:
1. Energy chemistry
2. Functional and solid state chemistry
3. Electromagnetic energy
4. Fusion energy control
5. Interfacial energy processes
6. Biofunctional chemistry
7. Fundamental neutron science
Evaluation Methods and Policy Attendance and report.
