Outline and Purpose of the Course Research techniques and recent results will be discussed in a series of seminars on the selected topics in fundamental energy science in order to improve the ability to understand, evaluate, and criticize them.
Course Goals Principal attainment targets are to:
1. train students to acquire basic knowledge and skills in fundamental energy science;
2. foster student's ability to comprehend the newest research trend and critically read previously existing literature in fundamental energy science;
3. foster student's ability to strive for the originality in conducting a research work and properly consider the logic and constitution as well as the notation in writing a technical article;
4. improve student's core English abilities related to fundamental energy science.
Schedule and Contents Based on the exercise and research subject arranged in each laboratory in the department of fundamental energy science, specific exercise and research for resolving the problem, evaluation of the result, writing summary and article etc., will be given.
