Class 2-3 Checking Trends in Higher Education Research by Looking at Keywords
The role of universities changed dramatically in the postwar period. As this gave rise to numerous issues, the field of higher education research gradually became a practice and research target for researchers from many fields and thus became academically systematized. We will look at historical trends in the targets of higher education research and the differences in perspectives among academic fields.

Class 4-5 The Appearance of New Universities
What were the “new universities” introduced under the postwar occupation by the American GHQ? How was the relationship between university and society defined at the new universities, and what kind of system was introduced in practice? We will consider the impact of the relationship on modern universities, based on historical facts and previous research.

Class 6-8 Report Reading
