Outline and Purpose of the Course Group reading and discussion on methods for transparent and reproducible research in psychology and neuroscience.
Course Goals - To learn about the issues regarding the poor reproducibility of published research and the questionable research practices in psychology and neuroscience.
- To learn to think critically about the conclusions made by researchers.
- To learn best practice methods for transparent and reproducible research
Schedule and Contents The instructors select several relevant papers for each class and assign homework. The following topics will be discussed.

(1) Introduction
(2-4) Replication crisis in psychology and neuroscience
(5-10) Research methods
(11-13) Open science
(14, 15) Discussion and feedback
Evaluation Methods and Policy Grades will be determined by the scores of assignments given in each class.
