| Outline and Purpose of the Course | The purpose of this lecture is to understand the relationship between economic growth and income distribution. Here, income distribution refers to the distribution between wages and profits that comprise national income. In economic theory, there are several approaches to economic growth and income distribution. In this lecture, various approaches will be explained, from both neoclassical and non-neoclassical economic theories. | |||
| Course Goals | The objective of this course is to enable students to have their own views on what kind of approach is effective for economic analysis of the modern economy by understanding the characteristics of each economic theory. | |||
